Overview
This six-week class will guide students through developing a process-based approach to learning etudes. During the class, students will watch video lectures, participate in live online video discussions, and go through the process of learning etudes with mentor teacher, Dr. Patricia Surman. Students will be given etudes to learn and upload each week and personalized feedback will be provided. Additionally, each week will feature a guest lecture on aspects of etude-learning.
This class is appropriate for students with two or more years of study on any musical instrument.
